Two teams have been relegated from the Turkish Süper Lig following the conclusion of Matchday 33. Fatih Karagümrük and Kayserispor have officially ended their Süper Lig journey and will drop to the 1. Lig next season.
Despite securing a 1-0 away victory against Kocaelispor, Fatih Karagümrük failed to stay in the top flight. The winning goal was scored by Anıl Yiğit Çınar in the 70th minute, but the three points were not enough to prevent relegation.
Kayserispor, meanwhile, suffered a heavy defeat at Alanyaspor, losing 3-1. The red-and-yellow side became the other team mathematically relegated with one matchweek remaining. The final team to be demoted from the Süper Lig is expected to be decided next week.
