Zenit midfielder Andrey Mostovoy came off the bench in the 66th minute of their Mir RPL match against Sochi, which ended in a 2–1 victory.
“There are rumors that Mostovoy really could leave Zenit this summer. We’ll see. Andrey came on with fire in his eyes, but again… It all comes down to skill. He had two good chances to score, but didn’t take them. I think he needs to change something within himself. He often looks too satisfied, almost self-complacent. To reach the next level, you first have to set the bar higher,” said Gennady Orlov.
Mostovoy himself responded: “I want to deny that I have discipline issues, that I show up to training drunk. Nothing like that has ever been noticed. I have no idea where these rumors come from.”
