Italian tennis player Flavio Kobolli expressed his frustration after being eliminated from the Rome Masters, falling to Argentina’s Thiago Tirante 3-6, 4-6 in the third round.

” I’m very disappointed… It hurts, but overall the last few weeks have been positive. Playing on this court is tough against any opponent. I didn’t expect to perform so poorly, but it happens—I have to accept it. I still need to learn how to get out of difficult situations, even if sometimes I put myself in them. On the other hand, my opponent is very strong, especially on clay, and today he played flawlessly. I’m upset, and I’m really angry at myself for playing like this,” Kobolli told Ubitennis.
